Agnes Madakor, is to start a television programme. The show christened ‘Trending Hashtags,’ airs on Lekki TV, a metropolitan television station based in Lagos with the shows first edition premiered on the metro television online platforms.
‘Trending Hashtags’ features lifestyle and happenings in the Africa entertainment industry including celebrity gossips, music, movie reviews, and lots more.
“Agnes is one the most amazing talents I have ever managed and have no doubt she will pull off the most beautiful show out from Lagos, selling Africa to the world,” Obaji Akpet, her manager said.
“Although, Agnes has had short-term involvement in some television stations in Nigeria, ‘Trending Hashtags’ will be one of her first to officially lunch her career as a piece-to-camera presenter,” Obaji added.
Nicknamed ‘Amaka-your-beauty on the radio’ the 27-year old is a known anchor for some of Nigeria’s prestigious events including the South Achievers Award.
Born in Douala Cameroon to a Cross River mom and an Anambra father, Agnes began her career as a host on the radio in 2011 where she earned the name ‘Amaka your beauty on the radio’ becoming one of the popular voices of ‘voice our culture’ airing on Voice of Nigeria, Radio Nigeria and ‘campus life’ on Kapital F.M 92.9.
She’s also known for her billboard appearances for brands including House of Tara International, Belle Femme Signature, and others.
Agnes brings this wealth of experience in hosting events and titillating audiences on the radio to hosting ‘Trending Hashtags.’
