East Africa’s KARIBU, KILIFAIR Tourism Fairs Hold Later This Month

KARIBU and KILIFAIR Tourism Exhibition is set for grand opening next month with full expectations to attract over 350 exhibitors from Africa, the ed States, Europe and Asia.

With its clock ticks for the taking off on June 7th up to 9th, the three day Africa’s emerging and upcoming tourism exhibition is all set for a kick-start.

Reports from northern Tanzania tourist city of Arusha said that registration for participants and exhibitors from Africa and other continents is going on smoothly with organizers, the KARIBU Tourism Exhibition and KILIFAIR Promotion Company putting the final touches for the grand opening of the premier tourism event.

Emerging among the fast-growing tourism fair in Africa, the fabulous tourism exhibition is expected to provide a networking platform for stakeholders from around the world to share experiences, establish new business relations and improve existing contacts, organizers said.

Organizers said the exhibition targets to promoting and presenting tourism companies in Tanzania, East Africa and Central Africa to the rest of the world through business networking event for the tourism industry in combination with a community fair to attract local people, families and other visitors’ expats on the weekend day.

More than 4,000 visitors are expected to visit the three-day event tourism fair which has become the biggest and most important Tourism Trade fair in East Africa. Tourist Boards from Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Malawi, Zimbabwe and Kenya are expected to participate in the fair.

KILIFAIR and KARIBU Fair have joined into a single tourism and travel exhibition entity last year, targeting to market the African tourism in Moshi town on the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro and Arusha city, Tanzania’s leading safari capital.

The two travel trade show organizers are expecting to pull in more partners and key players in the tourism industry across East Africa and the entire African continent.

Under such a special arrangement, KARIBU and KILIFAIR exhibition will be alternate between Moshi and Arusha, the Executive Secretary of the Tanzania Association of Tour Operators [TATO], Siril Akko, said.

Through a partnership with other regional tourist and travel trade exhibition organizers, KILIFAIR team has been participating to major fairs including Magical Kenya, Pearl of Africa in Uganda, WTM London and WTM Africa in Cape Town, also the ITB in Berlin, Germany.

The KARIBU Travel and Tourism Fair [KTTF] was established about 16 years ago with high-end success in tourism development through its annual shows in Arusha.
