Months after the suspension of domestic and international schedule operations, flights officially resumed today Wednesday 8th of July, 2020 at Murtala Muhammed Airport [MMA2] and General Aviation Terminal [GAT], domestic terminals in Lagos amid strict safety protocols.
Passengers were seen wearing face masks, observing social distancing, submitting to body temperature checks, among other COVID-19 safety protocols at the airport.
Ola Banji, Head of Communications, Arik Air told African Travel Times, that they adhered to the protocols put in place by relevant authorities and that passengers’ turnout was above average on their Lagos – Abuja flight this morning.
Apart from Arik Air, Air Peace, Max Air, and Ibom Air have also operated on the Lagos-Abuja routes.
