The World’s leading Travel Trade Show, ITB Berlin 2020 edition has been cancelled by the organiser due to the rapid spread of Coronavirus.
Though Messe Berlin has been criticized due to last minutes cancellation, putting many exhibitors and visitors in a difficult position to cancel or change flights and arrangements.
This cancellation only came now after exhibitors have paid for stand cost, made travel arrangements, hired staff and concluded and even shipped all marketing materials ahead.
Also to be affected now were the several side events and meetings which exhibitors would have arranged.
Meanwhile, ITB was schedule to hold from March 4th to 8th of March 2020 and this is the first time ITB is cancelled.
ITB Berlin has been running since 1966 and now has also managed to establish satellite events in China, India, and Singapore.
