Tourism Minister Lindiwe Sisulu is saddened by the news of the fatal shooting of a German tourist in Mpumalanga on Monday 3 October 2022. The tourist was part of a group of travellers making their way to one of the country’s top tourism attractions in the province.

President William Ruto has appointed Peninah Malonza as the new Cabinet Secretary for the Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife and Heritage.

The Lagos State House of Assembly on Tuesday called on Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu to direct the Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Uzamat Akinbile-Yussuf to ensure continuous awareness relating to tourism.
