Ghana: Sahara Solace Spirit Getting Diplomatic Acceptance
About a week ago, a distinguished send-off dinner was held for His Excellency Mr Eliphas Mugendi Barine, Kenya’s first resident High Commissioner to Ghana.
The event was attended by notable figures, including the @Togo ambassador, His Excellency Silver Ojakol [Chief of Staff of the African Continental Free Trade Area [AfCFTA] Secretariat the President of the Association of Ghana Industries Ghana [AGI], Dr Humphrey Kwesi Ayim- Darke, and representatives from the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre [GIPC] and Ghana Export Promotion Authority [GEPA].
The evening was marked by excellent networking opportunities, fostering discussions on cross-border trade and investment between Ghana and Kenya. Dr Ayim-Darke chaired the event and highlighted the importance of bilateral relations, ensuring all guests were entertained.
A significant moment of the evening was the toast with Sahara Solace, a Ghanaian owned butterscotch flavoured liqueur, led by the chairman symbolizing the spirit of collaboration and the promising future of Ghana-Kenya relations.
This gesture underscored Sahara Solace growing influence in the beverage industry and its role in fostering economic partnerships. Special thanks to dela gadzanku [Regional AGI Chairman in the Eastern, Volta and Oti Regions] for organising such a wonderful send off party.
The event was a celebration of unity and shared goals, providing a platform for fostering long-lasting business relationships and economic growth for both countries.
