NTDC, NIHOTOUR Bosses Commiserate With FTAN Over The Death Of Its President
The Director Generals of the Nigerian Tourism Development Corporation [NTDC], Richard Ovie Esewhaye, and that of the National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism [NIHOTOUR], Nura Sani Kangiwa have expressed shock at the sudden passing of Alhaji Saleh Rabo, National President of the Federation of Tourism Associations of Nigeria [FTAN].
A separate press statement by the two tourism agencies made available by their media units described Rabo’s death as a great loss to the tourism industry.
Alhaji Kangiwa said late Alhaji Rabo Saleh was a committed and hardworking professional in the industry and that his expertise; as well as his great contributions to the industry would be greatly missed.
On his part, Richard Ovie Esewhaye, the Ag. Director-General of the NTDC noted that Alhaji Saleh Rabo was a seasoned Tourism Practitioner and Promoter who contributed selflessly to the growth and development of tourism in Nigeria; and described him as a strong advocate of Private Sector participation in tourism businesses in synergy with the Public Sector.
The statement by the NTDC also noted that the Governing Board, the Management, and the entire staff of the Nigerian Tourism Development Corporation is deeply saddened by the untimely death of its cherished Board Member, Alhaji Saleh Rabo.
