Post COVID-19: Virgin Atlantic Will Return To Lagos With A350-1000
As countries begin to lift COVID-19 travel restrictions, Virgin Atlantic has announced the resumption of regular passenger service to Lagos, Nigeria from 23rd August 2020.
When services resume in August, Virgin Atlantic will be returning to Lagos with the new and ultra-modern Airbus A350-1000, replacing the Airbus A340-600 previously on that route.
Virgin Atlantic will also be resuming flights from London Heathrow to other destinations including New York, Los Angeles, Washington, Mumbai, Delhi, Shanghai, Tel Aviv, and others.
To ensure the health and safety of passengers, Virgin Atlantic is implementing measures to offer peace of mind including enhanced cleaning practices at check-in, boarding gates, and onboard.
In the short term, to minimize contact, Virgin Atlantic will also be offering a simplified hot food service in Economy and Premium Economy classes.
Upper-Class customers will receive a choice of hot meals, desserts, including cheese & biscuits, which will be delivered to their seats on a tray.
The airline will also be serving temporarily limited alcohol offering to passengers in all classes.
